It's not for everyone. The law doesn't always jive perfectly with what you yourself believe, so it can make it harder to defend someone to the best of your ability when they may have done something you don't agree with.
The problem is, everyone deserves a fair trial, even the most despicable of us. That's kind of the consequence of having the freedoms we do.
That does make sense. I'm not sure if that's my problem with it so much as so much of is based upon conflict no matter which side you're on it feels like. We definitely need good lawyers, though.

The kind that doesn't pay much. Right now, I'm aiming for a job at this legal aid office in my hometown. Though I'd love to be district attorney one day. I want to be in a place that'll really allow me to make change.
Sometimes you need to be a little self-centered. At the end of the day, someone has to do what's best for you. If it's not going to be someone else, it might as well be yourself.

Granted, that's not the area I'll be working in, but I like to argue. Not everyone does.
