I have a hydrokinetic turtle acting as a security system - going through my window would not be the recommended approach.
Though I do appreciate you texting first.
[He doesn't really do a lot of that, from what she remembers.]
I'll start the coffee so its ready when you get here.

A hydrokinetic turtle. I feel like there's a story behind that I've missed out on.
Question of the day: how much bribing would it take to make you consider visiting me at work sometime this week?

Not that long of one. I adopted him at one of the meet and greets.
That depends on why you're asking me to come out there.
[If it's just to see him, not much. if it's for other nefarious purposes ... slightly more.]

Does he have a name? And what can I feed him to win him over to my side?
Do you remember that camping trip we went on in highschool that your dad threatened to have me arrested for kidnapping over?

Squirtle? Thea called him Roy so he responds to both. And as for food, there are treats that I have that he likes.
... Yes. I remember it very well. Both the threatening and the trip.

Roy would probably get a kick out of that. Or sulk. Both equally amusing.
Well, I figured I owed you the real thing, instead of the billionaire teenage version. That and my survival skills are considerably better now.

I don't know, the billionaire teenage version was pretty good.
[Even if it was a slight disaster, it was a fun one, and it served it's purpose of giving them time alone together.]
But sure. Though I should warn you that my "roughing it" skills are fairly rusty.
